APM 100 and APM 60 Description • Analog power supply units with the record-breaking efficiency factor of 60-85% for the standard voltages of 6, 12, 15, 24V (approx. 1-2A) • Power MOS rectifier, very low-drop control loop, parallel or series connection of the two toroidal core transformers utilizing the (high) input voltage in idling phase, base output load a mere 2mA • Maximum output currents: 2.5/2x2.5A or 1.6/2x1.6A (series transformer connection / parallel transformer connection) • APM 100: 0.75A output current unmuffled at 18V Ua and 12V~ transformer voltage!!! (parallel connections) • Voltage control from 0V • Additional board Z for U1 with extra functions: Disabling at overtemperatures, five-hour charging timer, voltage-rise cut-off function, external activation, potential-free disabling with blinking LED Optional: a board for 5V or 3.3V with USB port • The second DVM has three function options: I of U1, U of U2, or I of U2 • Precise DVM display and good potentiometer controllability as Ua goes up to 2x18V • Exclusive use of readily available components • The style of the outer casing is left to the constructor. • During assembly, ESD regulations are to be observed.
